Courier & Parcels - silent guided screenshots - 0.4.0 The useful outcome Let's follow one task in Courier & Parcels. A fictional parcel needs delivery between two named locations. Use an invented recipient and unique consignment reference. Record pickup first, review the dispatch details, and follow the parcel to its recorded delivery evidence. This lesson uses fictional records. Keep the same references throughout so you can connect the starting information, important action and final result. Prepare the linked records Check the workspace and selected system first. Prepare the required starting information in Senders. Use New record, complete the relevant fields and save. Read any validation message before continuing. Open the saved references to confirm that they identify the intended records in this workspace, rather than a similar example. Create and review Open Waybills and create the operational record. Its inputs include Customer, Reference, Origin, Destination, Recipient, Phone, Weight, Charge. Check each linked reference and any dates, quantities or amounts before saving. Open the record detail after saving. Where a total is calculated, inspect the inputs that produced it instead of assuming an entered note changes that value. Complete the important action The configured action starts from picked up. When the record is eligible, choose dispatch. The configured destination is in transit. Inspect the saved state and workflow history, then compare any related quantity, balance or availability with the starting record. A validation message needs its cause corrected before another permitted attempt; avoid repeating an action while the page is responding. Follow the connected improvement After recording parcel delivery, create the linked delivery-evidence record. Review the recipient, delivery time and notes before verification. The configured action requires delivered status and prevents duplicate verified evidence. This records an authorised manual check; live location tracking and recipient signature collection require their own configured services. Check the important boundary Review the exact reference and current state before another action. The available button reflects this workflow and your permissions. Use a separate fictional example for a rejected or conflicting case, and inspect its message. Keep internal business records distinct from external payments, personal signatures and services that need separately configured providers. Inspect the report and document Open Visual reports, select the relevant system and date range, then update the report. Check that this example is included in that scope. Read the chart labels alongside the underlying records. Generate the available PDF from the saved record and inspect its reference, dates and outcome before sharing it. Keep private documents within their authorised audience. Practise the same path Try this task with another fictional example. Check the saved waybills record, the connected proof of delivery outcome and the relevant report. Confirm the available workflow matches your organisation's requirements before using live information.
